It's just another Manic Monday! To cheer up my Monday, I decided to wear one of the pieces that started my love of vintage clothing in the very beginning; a skirt that my Grammi made in the early 1950's, before my mom was even born. This skirt has a twin, made of practically the same fabric (only in a different color scheme) and has seen many things. Luckily enough my Grammi, my mom and I are all on the tiny side and therefore all three of us have worn this skirt. This skirt has seen times in many high school and colleges classes, at many different jobs, and in many different eras. It's twin, of course, has also been around thourghout all of this and someday I'm sure I'll share it as well. For now, here is the salmon-colored, plaid, wool skirt.

Skirt: salmon, brown, cream & green plaid wool skirt . circa early 1950s . made by my Grammi
